I just finished listening to David McCullough’s The Wright Brothers on Audible. McCullough is one of my favorite authors of all-time and the initial reason that I began my pursuit of reading one biography of each U.S. President (over halfway through).
A couple of my favorite quotes are posted on Instagram.
The author has such a special way of framing history as narrative. He attempts to interpret events without compromising the context with a blatant agenda. The story educates and inspires – compelling the reader to ask difficult questions in our day. What is the next great innovation? What is the impossibility that might just be possible? What costs are we willing to pay?
Pick up the book and let me know what you think. A great summer read….
